That they give their support
To having a little whine each day.
So in this rhyme
I will take the time
To whine for a while if I may.
We’ve had four days of rain
It’s become quite a pain
The basements flooded and everything’s wet.
I can’t seem to sleep
Gasoline is not cheap
It’s so muggy I’m starting to sweat.
My head has been aching
Everything has been breaking
I can’t solve one problem before another begins
The things that need done
Are too much for just one
I’m beginning to believe I should have born twins.
So I’ve now had my whine
So now everything’s fine
But before all is done is said.
One last little moan
I’d like it be known
I really prefer the red.
