I received a message a few months back
There was this girl who wanted to talk
She was hurting, as was I
We continued to talk, casual at first
But as we went, the more I did feel
I told my self, don’t you fall
This girl wants fun, not it all

The more we spoke, the more we shared
I could see, her life in me
The problems she had, were mine as well
I was so shocked cause I really began to care

Along came the day for us to meet
I was so scared, of what she would see
Her car door opened, and out she came
I could feel my heart stop as I looked upon her
Angels are real, and one has a name

It was that moment, that small piece of time
I knew right then, my heart was no longer mine
I had given up on love, thought it had gone
Yet here is this angel, I knew I would still have some

As she drew close, I looked in her eyes
What I saw was really a surprise
There was so many things I could see when I looked
For the keeper of the soul, can be read like a book

I could not stop my self, I started to move
All that matted was her I would kiss
At that moment, the world had stopped
As for my walls, they began to drop

Now this angel I know so well
Her fears to me, she did tell
They all make sense, and that I don’t blame
But now is the time she will learn what’s in my name
For here are my vows, on my life I proclaim

You I will cherish, and treat with respect
Never anything from you will I expect
The children you have, and the one to be born
I will love and protect as that of my own
Money is no issue, for that I don’t care
My job is to provide, for that I do well
Have what you need, I will do well
Give what you want, well that is my aim
Going with out, never will I allow

The future is scary, we know this is true
I stand here before god, proclaiming to you
I don’t care what life may bring
There isn’t much, that I haven’t seen
But with you, the pain I will shield

You gave me your heart
And that I still own
I have never hurt it, nor will I
You are my angel, sent from above
You came in my life, when I needed it most
This I wont forget, nor will I let you

When you put together,
This angel and me
Something comes out,
that is something to see
Perfection is that, what most women want
This is what we have,
Together its superb

Our lives together, we now must begin
Past is just that, the book we must close
For that is then only way for the last chapter to begin
I say it the last because of this fact
Just as in your life, all fairy tales do end
They end with a phrase, that we all know and love
This is what I offer, and what I will give
For just as the movie in your head you will hear
They all lived happily ever after
