Stalking the streets he comes for you,
To take you down to his dark place,
To cover your mouth as you scream and writhe,
Invading your personal space.
How much will you pay to avoid his glare?
Another good deed or two?
Will you call your Gran and see how she is?
And visit for an hour or two?
Walking the streets he hunts for you,
To make you walk his fiery path,
To wrap you in shrouds of glass and pain,
Intending to show you his wrath.
What will you do to waive this fate?
Something miraculous and new?
Find a cure for cancerous cells?
Save a life or even two?
Limping the streets he waits for you,
Got attacked by a mugger and a thief,
They tried to shoot him but hey he is DEATH,
So they beat him and left him on the streets.
You did so much to change the world,
To grasp a good moment or two,
To live like you have never lived before,
And show death just who’s bossing who.

She locks herself in her room,
and sits down on the floor,
tonight the knife is calling her,
the blade is begging for more.
No reasoning with razers,
no protest, she gives in,
no love, or hope left in her heart,
tonight the knife will win.
But she cant seem to stop,
and she goes in way too deep,
but, she doesnt seem to mind,
no call for help, she doesnt speak.
see her there now,
silent, in her coffin,
couvered in all her punishments,
that she gave herself so often.
and, the girl with the scarlet bands,
is now where she belongs,
somewhere she can finally be free,
somewhere there’s no right or wrong.

Or sweeps you away in broad daylight.
This being mans biggest doubt,
Death is not to be talked about.
Where he comes from where he goes?
We have no tangible proof that shows.
The masters say there is a holy light,
In the beginning and during our last flight.
How do I overcome my fear of death?
By leading a good life and having no regret.
