Good Bye

So confused
Not knowing what to do
I love you so much
But I love him too

Most of the time
All we ever do is fight
I really don’t have a clue
On how to make it right

I want to be with you
But he is never off my mind
I’m sorry that I am hurting You
I’m sorry I’m that kind

The Eternal Torment Of My Reality

I am lying in bed
and then I wake
on my pillow are my tears
they are like a lake

I look at my alarm clock
it loudly beeps
it likes to tomrent people
who once were asleep

Outside the weather’s cloudy
but I don’t care
instead of going out I’ll just
cut, and dye my hair

reaching for my tweezers
my hair, it dries
I thought to pluck my eyebrows
instead I’ll pluck my eyes

lying on the gurney
I cannot see
in hindsight, it was a mistake
it’s awful being me

I Never Thought…

I never thoght it would happen,
I fell in love with you.
I fell so very deeply,
But you were never true.

You used my heart like you owned it,
And made me cry these tears,
And now there’s nothing left to say,
It’s all so crystal clear.

What was it you wanted?
I gave you everything i had.
You tore me into pieces,
The pain is so, so bad.

I was a little bit of fun for you,
A break from your nightmare.
But how can it end like this,
I now know you never cared.

So yes i’ll shed my tears for you,
And memories will invade my mind,
But i know that i’ll get over you,
I can leave you behind.

I let myself be fooled by you,
Believed the empty words you said,
And now i feel like an idiot,
For letting you into my head.

Time is indeed a healer though,
And time is all i need,
To rid myself of your dangerous grasp,
And let myself be free.

The invisible child

One in two is better odds,
To be seen, than one in three,
One in four is heavier odds,
Of being passed over with ease.

Coming in line the second eldest,
In a family comprised of all girls,
Everyone fighting for a scrap of praise
All growing up, in a woman’s world.

Sometimes recognized for your good,
Sometimes punished for same,
Often ignored and unloved it seemed,
Not a very nice childhood game.

Was it right to be accused?
Was it ok to be blamed?
To be seen in the same vein as the useless men,
Who will remain un-faced and un-named.

Sporadic Compassion in kind words,
Rare arms that held and then healed,
Encouragement lost in the swell of anger,
Pain replaces feelings that won’t yield.

Years and tears have moved on,
Tides of words thought and spoken,
Sorrow for what is lost to us now,
The grip of the past is still not broken.

In the serene room just once a week,
60 Minutes to talk, hurt and cleanse,
Kind words, encouragement-sometimes foreign,
Shattering of rose coloured lens.

Picking at a scab not well healed,
Delving down under your skin,
Ripping out the flesh that has mutated,
Freeing the invisible child within.

Bury ‘Em

for every song that’s proven wrong
let go of all their glory
and sing no more their ancient lore
and promises gone awry
then say goodbye to every lie
dead singers made you carry

for every rhyme outlived by time
denounce them for their frailty
read not the dirge between their words
embedded in their beauty
then stop the tears induced by fears
dead poets brought a-plenty

for every prose unveiled as woes
that made you feel so weary
forget their schemes and broken dreams
let’s weave a new love story
then paint a sky for us to fly
dead writers, let’s go bury…!

She Lay In Her Bed…

She lay in her bed,
cries herself to sleep.
She dreams of a world,
a world she can keep.

In her world,
nothing is as it seems.
People live wherever they want,
even in a stream.

Life is peaceful,
the world is pure.
She dreams of a world,
a world that is cured.

No one shall ever bicker,
nor shall they fight.
Because in her world,
God has shown them the light.

In the real world,
all she does is scream.
But in her world,
she has amazing and big dreams.

She is so happy,
she has found true love.
Her prince charming says,
shes as beautiful as a dove.

She is never forced,
to do what she doesn’t want to do.
Because everyone there,
knows the pain shes gone through.

Life Like A Book

I read my life like a book,
but i cannot bear to look,
to full of misery and pain,
and nothing left to gain.

i feel constant darkness,
evil and torment,
death and decay,
no love just regret.

i’m so alone,
so afraid,
no tears left,
and no one cares.

Forever Yours

This lonely day has turned into night,
I feel my heart explode in my chest.
One bitter tear sparks in my eye,
The soul behind it knows no rest.
The light of one more candle is gone,
Reality is scaring my hope,
And through the night I’ll be all alone…
But I will keep the promise. I’ll cope.

The night. The day.
The miles. Away.
The waiting. Hard.
So frail. Apart.
The dusk. The dawn.
Afraid. Uknown.
Still lost. No way.
Alone. Again.
