It seems like it was yesterday
We were skating through the streets
If only things had gone my way
If there had just been one more week
I would make the time to spend with you
To create the best of memories
It happened so fast I didn’t know what to do
To say I miss you expresses it the very least

I am sorry now you didn’t have the time
To make something of yourself
But in years we shared were the best of times
It’s sad that you are somewhere else

The times we shared laughing and skating
They will always be here with me
Things would be better if you were here
If you were more than just a memory
Remember when you would come into town
We would play hack and make the best of time
Or even when we just sat around for hours
How did enjoying life become such a crime?

I am sorry now you didn’t have the time
To make something of yourself
But in years we shared were the best of times
It’s sad that you are somewhere else

At just fifteen when cancer struck
Upon our knees we fell
We looked to the sky and asked why
And then we prayed like hell
But through prayer and chemo you had fought
While we all stood at your side
Nothing more we could have done but wait

The times that we spent together,
Perhaps are some of the memories I’ll take back,
Those late night chats, crazy sms’es
Sentimental speeches that still lie in my rack

We sat next to each other, and,
Talked through out till we were caught
And then as dutt screamed,
We still smiled at each other…
Thinking that it was one of here usual fits
That she kept getting one after another.

Those days when we didn’t speak…
And were upset wid each others actions,
When the days seemed like dark nights,
And, both of us refused to say sorry,
And thought it was r very rite
To demand an answer and a word of apology.

There have been times when are egos had fallen into play,
And we didn’t wonna hear wat the other had to say,
There have been times when I really missed you
But never said a word,
And I always wanted to make myself heard…
I knew u were there waiting to listen to me
And I waited for your call all night…
The call never came… and it was morning again
An inspiration to start afresh was how I interpreted it then…

Thinking back of the times
When we sat on the swing and held each others hands,
The rain continued to fall,
The wind continued to blow,
And even in that silence so much was said
Something that only you and I would know….
How I screamed at you for having talked to
Eeky freaky piki for so long
And for ignoring me no end….
The way you said that you were there for me then…
I could literally see you smiling on the phone at the other end.
The times when you told me right from wrong
And explained things to me for so long,
You brought me to the right path
And showed me a ray of hope even in d dark…

These are the memories that I will carry wid me forever,
Something that is truly so special and sweet,
Something, which I will treasure forever…

Neha, my friend… you have been the angel in my life
Is wat I realized when I gave our friendship a thought
I wonna tell u that I will always care for you,
And, love you, whether I say it or not…

This day of the month is what I wait for,
When we can celebrate our friendship,
The day we met for the first time…
Thinking back, that day was just so perfect.

We have been friends for 8 months now…
But there’s something really weird,
It feels like ive known you for many years
And we’ve shared so many happy moments and tears….

What would life be without you?
It would have a completely different meaning
Uve redefined the word friendship
And added a charm and magic to the entire thing…

All those late night calls and sms’es
All those crazy fights…
All that advice that uve given me…
Those made me reconsider and choose what’s right….
Those are the moments that I will treasure…
Today tomorrow and forever…

People have many definitions of true friends,
The correct definition would be you,
All I would like to say is
There couldn’t have been a more wonderful and perfect friend than you!!!

Give your pall a hug and a kiss
cause it may be your only chance to do this
you don’t know what will happen today
and so turn to them and say
“I love you my friend, i truly do
and I hope I’ve always been a good friend to you”
so that you’ll know that no matter what goes on
you friend will know how you’ve felt all along
if you hate each other by tomorrow
then you’ll never feel any sorrow
because you’ll know that you told them in the nick of time
what you’ve always had on your mind
if you don’t then you should beware
because it means that you must not care
if your pall knows how you feel or not
but know that if something happens you’ll be caught
blaming yourself for what you didn’t do
only because you didn’t want to
but now you do and you cant go back
So just turn to you pal and give them a smack.
