Future History Books

Pain and suffering is the price they pay
All because their leader denied the U.S. of A

Sure, they weren’t living in a democracy
But who are we to say that it was hypocrisy

Their ways of life differ from ours
From veiled women to households without cars

Half way around the world we go
No U.N., but the British are in tow

Dear Mr President and Mr. Prime Minister
Where is the evidence declaring them sinister

Trying to acquire is different from owning
So why all the bitching and moaning

I support our troops whenever in harms way
But with my words I will try to sway

Sway all the men in Washington D.C.
Questioning all is what makes us free

So why do I get these funny looks
I’m concerned about our future history books

That they’ll say during this time we stood by
And watched as someone’s freedom die

When War…

When war starts,
Life ends and death begins
Light ends and shade prevails
Joy ends and despair begins
For war is the ravenous devil
Born to gulp the balmy blood
And dethrone the humanity
Into the itinerary of disgust

When war starts,
Serenity ends and brutality begins
Affluence ends and dearth prevails
Adore ends and dissension begins
For war is the repulsive venom
Born to obliterate the soul of life
And smolder the heart of love
In the furnace of perpetual strife

When war starts,
Veracity ends and deception begins
Independence ends and anarchy prevails
Appetite ends and starvation begins
For war is the storm of covetousness
Blown by the forest of ascendancy
That deracinates the seeds of love
And barrens the womb of mother Earth

But…When war stops,
Death ends and life begins
Shade ends and light prevails
Despair ends and joy begins
For peace is the fountain of joy
That revives the snoozing heart
And enshrouds the rhythm of life
With the fragrance of divine love

When war stops,
Brutality ends and serenity begins
Dearth ends and affluence prevails
Dissension ends and adore begins
For peace is the saccharine nectar
Born to nourish the essence of life
And make this discernible Earth
A facsimile of eternal Paradise

When war stops,
Deception ends and veracity begins
Anarchy ends and independence prevails
Starvation ends and appetite begins
For peace is the zephyr of tranquility
Blown by the forest of generosity
That swirls and glides the dark clouds
Of abhorrence, remote from its territory

Will it ever end?

Trembling sighs from
deeply troubled beings
threaten to cede
under heavy pressure
bursting forth they mix
with clouds of smoke there.

Will it ever end?
Hush, hush!…yet more time, they say.

Since March 20th 2003,
flashes and thunder on any day
a once fair sky is blemished,
calm rivers and dusty grounds
once pleasure to the sight,
today are engulfed in grime.

Will it ever end?
Hush, hush!…yet more time, they say.

Moms, Dads share sighs,
pray for Braves to come home;
Spouses and Siblings likewise
claim their Heroes with them.
But, oh!…many hearts grieve,
their beloved will be not near.

Will it ever end?
Hush, hush!…yet more time, they say.

Why must it be a pansy?

There they are, they lean from side to side,
Nobody doubts their elegance and their simple beauty.
Where was the pansy, when that fatal whistle blew?
Where was the pansy, when that deafening sound approached?
Why must it be a pansy?
Why not a nettle or a thorn?

A pansy could not show so much courage,
So much strength and so much honor.
A pansy could never express so much sacrifice,
Never express so much hardship.
With that delicate stem of yours,
And those fragile petals.
Why must it pansy?
Why not a cactus?

With your sweet and luring smell,
Not of rotting flesh or disintegrating corpses.
Does the red symbolize blood or death?
Why must it be a pansy?
Why not a lily in all its gloom?

We March

We march in darkness,
We cannot see,
Bodys lay lifeless,
In the weeds,

I see my friends,
Now dead and gone,
We left our beds,
So soon before dawn,

I hear a shot,
I hear a scream,
And all that’s left,
Is a weary three,

We meet our escape,
So big and gray,
I’m a coward,
I flee this place.

Why Oh Why ?

Why Mom and Dad why
Was I destined and born into this life to die
This terrorist war makes so many just cry
Our awesome America may be going to war
And now I may cease to exist no more
I grew up and finished school with a 3.5
I am so proud to be alive
I am 18 now and so ready for life
Find someone special and make her my wife
Our job market and economy are really bad
All of this really makes me mad and sad
I joined the army for income stability
And now I must face the ugly reality
Of fighting a war in a foreign country
And possibly become a statistical casualty
You see Mom, Dad, I want to live
I have strong morals, education, lots to give
I am too young to go off and die
Why Mom and Dad, Why Oh Why!!!!!

Drums of War

I wake up in the horizon,
I see the morning sun,
I weep knowing that morning has come.
I hear the drums they are beating,
faster at a quicker pace,
wishing I could be in a different, better place.

My brothers and sisters come far and wide,
Out of our teepees,
No more do we hide,
The drums of war are beating,
Things are about to collide,

The warriors are ready,
Fully dressed, in gown,
I watch the leather to the spear,
It turns round and round,

The weapons are ready,
The warriors stead at hand,
but low and behold,
where is the medicine man.

We’ll need his guidance,
his wisdom today,
Because today is the day,

We prove our power,
we’ll take our vengeance,
We’ll a line like a strong tower.

The women he’ll stay back,
Nobody will be relaxed,

We come back victorious,
and eat a mighty feast,
Knowing we won against the superior beast.

Slowly we start walking out against the might sun,
Today everyone has become one,
There are no difference,
We are all just the same,
Today is the day this beast is going to be tamed,

We battle our battle,
We fought our war,
We lost many warriors,
and hearts will be tore.

So good luck to all the warriors,
The many and the few,
We fight our fight,
and win this challenging feud.

When we get back,
this drums will quit beating,
Their will be no more war,

Peoples heart can quit bleeding,
We won our fight,
we won our war,

A victory cry will be held out through the land,
A boy today will become a man.
So wish us luck with a imperious cry,
Hopefully today no one will die.

So good luck to all the warriors that leave the tribe behind,
Follow your heart,
and use the wind as a guide,
The trees will help you as shade during the day,
The animals will help as food,
Go catch them they are your prey.

Good bye all my warriors,
Return back soon and safe,
For your family will be waiting,
Right here we’ll stay.

Blood still cries

In fear they run in terror
As buildings come falling down
The dear brave souls, to save a life
In ashes their bodies found

At our nations brain of war,
More blood spilled out that day
Americans of honor
Lost to coward ways

In a field, more blood does cry
With countless tears
Their loved ones cry

They call our nation
Now at war
From coast to coast
Our anger soars

To tell our children
That question why?
In our hearts
Their blood still cries

War Song

A single flag floats on the wind,
Hopeing for an end,
To murder,
To hate,
To relentless fate,
An end above all ends.
But when will such a time come forth?
And when shall it begin?
For as long as there are men on earth,
This hatred won’t relent,
Try to learn,
And do not hate,
But try to love insted,
When you love above all else there will be your end.
So do not kill,
And do not fight,
To stop this endless plight.
And to save for future generations all that is right.

Ashamed Sun

Early morning when the sun comes up
And to it’s misery finds the burning earth,
Hears the news of bomb-blast last night
Sun feels ashamed and tries to hide.
It calls the cloud to cover it through
And remembers the earth which used to be good.
Hiding from a corner, moon calls the sun
Tells the horrifying killings that went before the dawn.
Sun melts in tear but the truth is truth
It loves not to shine today and it seems to brood
The blame is on us my brothers, I say
Love and peace lies only on few prayers today.

War in the Sun

You rape the one thing you endure to be
It seems you have fallen to self glory
Your lack of empathy proved me wrong
Because once I believed that you were strong

War is the failure of your politics
While bleeding bloody red with fragile antics
I refuse to expose your veiled faults
But yet I lay wounded to these assaults

The moon overlooks the bitter infant’s mourning
Tonight is the sour end; just until morning
Tomorrow the sun will brightly burn again
Right before but not soon after your ‘amen’

America at War

The flashes on the screen
were spears to my heart
and awe to my sight.
Rumble of thunder
broke the stillness of night,
lightning strikes from above
rendered brighter
the blushing of dawn,
haze of undulated cloud of smoke
hugged the patchy ground below.
Who was there? They claim to know.

Saddam may be too clever
for his foe
to be cought in his hole !
he might have brain
in his scull after all !
What next? I can hear in me

The Master of it all
is ready to go.
So many voices loud and clear
from Lands far and near
did not deter the blow
hovering all over the world!!
May be thirst of power
through greatness of deeds,
maybe old grudge or vengeance,
strength of convictios even
fuelled by the tragic event
of that Day 9/11,
taking over in earnest
stressful effect
of the dreadful event.

Weapons of mass destruction?
freedom fo Iraqi friends
and peace there and in our Land?
It’s all in the air,
and we don’t know where !

Abhorring the war
resenting the cause of it all,
I salute Thee, faller Hero !
my heartfelt support goes
to the Braves struggling
along the same dusty trail!

They stripped your Flag
from your stained garment,
also the Badge so you be unknown,
but to no avail, because
I know You, you are not dead !

May the balm from my heart
soothe the sorrow
of your dear ones!
They grieve for your loss
and so do I.

Your child may know now
you will not be coming home,
he will know tomorrow
You never left
You will be with him forevermore.
